Criteria

PLAUSIBILITY criterion 

Plausibility means that the paths to the futures must be feasible and may not be viewed as impossible.

CONSISTENCY criterion 

Consistency means that the paths to the futures and the resulting images must be consistent with one another, i.e. they must not be mutually contradictory.

SIMPLICITY criterion 

Simplicity means that the scenario describes paths to the future scenario in a way that is easily understood by both professional and lay readers.
